Forest Light was born from my desire to capture the immersive experience of walking in the coastal redwood forests near my home. To honor the natural forms of this landscape, I worked intuitively—cutting my own hand-dyed fabric freehand, without a ruler, and quilting the top with multi-colored threads in meandering lines. This process reflects the fluidity and quiet majesty of the forest, where light filters through towering trees in ever-changing patterns.
